In an exceptional natural setting , nestled in the heart of the aravis  range of mountains, the grand bornand offers you the charm of an authentic alpine village. The resort is divided into two accommodations areas the grand bornand village and the grand-bornand chinaillon. Separated by 6 km these two centers.

Complement each other perfectly and are linked by a regular ski bus service and cable cars. At an altitude of 1000 m Grand-Bornand village has focused on its  savoyarde identity. Decorated with winter illuminations the village church with its majestic bell tower its old covered market place around the center of the village is animated and diffuses a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

At an altitude of 1300 m The Grand-Bornand Chinaillon has a more sporty ambience to the village. Chinaillon has developed along side the snow sports / winter sports without losing its centuries old traditional charm.
